We do not require you to create an account and we do not sell personal information. The data we hold falls into three groups:
Voluntarily supplied information is used only for the purpose you supplied it for: to send the newsletter you asked for, or to reply to your message. Analytics data is used to understand which articles are useful so we can write more of what works. Advertising data is used by our partners to serve ads and to measure their performance.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions with legal effects, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.

Analytics data is retained for the period configured in the analytics account, which by default is between two and fourteen months. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Messages you send us are retained only as long as needed to deal with the matter and any follow-up.
Our hosting, analytics and advertising providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens under GDPR, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent.
